The Society meets the second Sunday of each month at
2:00 PM at the Tulsa Garden Center. Most meetings are held in the
auditorium. The Business meeting will be held following the regular
meeting at a location to be announced at the meeting.
The programs listed are planned with the best intentions but subject to change
due to the availability of the speaker.

February 12 - Dr. Damon Smith OSU Plant Pathology Identifying rose diseases
The Program for the Sunday February 12, 2012 meeting of the Tulsa Rose Society will be Dr. Damon Smith. Dr. Smith is a Professor and Research Scientist at OSU in the field of Plant Pathology. He will speak about the disease that plague our gardens with emphasis on proper identification of each. Identifying the pathogen that is causing damage helps us to treat it more effectively. This will be a program of interest to anyone who gardens in Oklahoma and the public is welcome and invited to attend.

March 11 - TRS Meeting - Lothar Beneke of Weeks Roses - New Rose Varieties and Best varieties for OK
March 24 - Tulsa Garden Center Class and Pruning in the Tulsa Rose Garden
March 25 - Bingo for Roses - We will be playing Bingo and have a silent auction for Roses. This will be our main event to raise funds for 2012.
April 13 - 14 - Tulsa Garden Center Springfest - Tulsa Rose Society will have a booth for information and possible sale of roses for fund raising.
May 5 - Local Garden Tours - watch for information here and in the newsletter
May 6 - Dr. Eric Rebek OSU Entomologist Identifying insect pest of roses by observation and plant damage. Show prep for those interested after regular meeting. Entry tags will be available.
May 19 - Spring Rose Show - Tulsa Garden Center - Entries 7 - 9 AM Open to the public Noon - 3 PM
